Cleaning & Sealing

  • We use pH-balanced, stone-safe cleaners to remove dirt, oils, soap scum, and residue without damaging the stone.

  • Our tools are designed to clean deeply while protecting your stone’s surface integrity.

  • We ensure all moisture is removed and the surface is fully prepped before sealing

  • We use high-quality, penetrating sealers formulated for each stone type to guard against water, oil, and other contaminants.

  • Our team applies the sealer evenly and wipes away any excess to avoid hazy or sticky residue.

  • We’ll provide guidance on how long to avoid moisture or heavy use to let the sealer cure properly.

Polishing

  • A specialized chemical (crystallizer) is applied to the stone. This solution reacts with the calcium in the surface, creating a new, harder crystal layer that enhances both gloss and durability.

  • Using a floor machine and fine steel wool pads, we buff the surface to activate the crystallization reaction — producing a smooth, glass-like finish.

  • We complete the process with a final polish and thorough inspection to ensure an even, high-quality shine with no swirl marks or residue.

Grinding & Honing

  • Removes deep etching, embedded stains, heavy scratches, and dull spots caused by long-term wear or chemical exposure.

  • For limestone and travertine, we perform full lippage removal — grinding down raised edges where tiles meet to create a level, trip-free surface.

  • Evens out rough or pitted areas, creating a uniform surface across the stone

  • Our process includes dust containment and full cleanup to leave your space clean and ready for the next stage — whether that’s honing, sealing, or polishing.

  • Leaves the stone smooth and consistent with a soft, natural-looking finish — no gloss or reflection unless desired.

  • After honing, the surface is fully cleaned and neutralized — ready for sealing or optional polishing.

Poultice Extraction & Epoxy Repairs

  • We identify the type of stain and determine the appropriate poultice formula for the specific stone and contaminant.

  • A paste made of an absorbent material and stain-lifting agent is applied directly over the stained area and sealed to prevent air exposure.

  • The poultice is left to sit (usually 24–48 hours), allowing it to draw the stain up from beneath the surface.

  • The poultice is carefully removed and the area inspected. Some deep stains may require multiple applications for best results.

  • We inspect the affected area to determine the type and extent of damage, including cracks, chips, or missing sections.

  • The stone is cleaned and prepped to ensure strong adhesion of the epoxy

  • We mix and apply high-strength epoxy, carefully matched to the color, veining, and texture of the stone

  • We finish with a close inspection to ensure the repair is durable, clean, and blends in beautifully.

FAQ

1. Why does my marble look dull or cloudy over time?

Marble is a soft, porous stone that can become etched or worn from acidic cleaners, spills, or everyday use. These dull spots are common and can be restored through professional honing and polishing.

2. What’s the difference between honing and polishing?

Honing smooths the stone surface and leaves a soft, matte or satin finish. Polishing takes it a step further to create a glossy, reflective finish. The right choice depends on your style preferences and how the surface is used.

3. Can you remove stains from marble or other natural stone?

Yes, but it depends on the type of stain and how deep it has penetrated. Surface stains can often be removed with professional cleaning or poultice extraction. Deep or old stains may require more intensive restoration.

4. How often should natural stone be sealed?

Most stone surfaces should be sealed once a year, but it varies based on the type of stone, location, and how often it’s used. High-use areas like kitchen counters or showers may need sealing more frequently.

5. Is marble a good choice for kitchens and bathrooms?

Absolutely — marble is beautiful and timeless. However, it does require regular care. It’s more prone to etching and staining, so proper sealing and gentle cleaning are key to keeping it looking its best.

6. What should I use to clean my stone surfaces at home?

Use a pH-neutral, stone-safe cleaner — avoid acidic or abrasive products like vinegar, bleach, or glass cleaner. Regularly wiping with a damp microfiber cloth and approved stone cleaner will help maintain the finish.
